ABOUT THE ROLE
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a self-driven individual to join the team as a Payroll and Billings Assistant working remotely from home on a Permanent Part-time basis and possible transition into a Permanent Full-time basis in the future.
This role offers a unique blend of billings/invoicing and payroll components allowing the right candidate to working from his/her comfort home environment. Collectively the team process payroll for up to 100 staff and billings for up to 200 invoices across two entities on a fortnight basis.
Reporting to the Financial Controller you will be responsible for:

- Accurate set up of employee card files in Xero including super funds
- Maintaining employee pay level update in Xero and other registers
- Reconciliation of all bank at least weekly
- Processing fortnightly payroll for Home Care and Agency staff.
- Ad hoc payroll and billing administration tasks.
- Producing fortnightly invoices for our Home Care clients and Agency clients.
- Timely processing of payroll and invoices and accuracy of data.
Hours: 16 hours/fortnight (Wednesday is a preferrable day to work of the week).

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

- Aged Care sector experience desirable, not essential.
- Previous billing and invoicing experience.
- Using spreadsheets as part of our invoicing
- Previous payroll and STP experience.
- Experience with Xero Invoicing and Xero Payroll would be a definite advantage, although not essential as training will be provided
- High Attention to detail
- Police clearance (less than 2 years old)
- Autonomous Worker
- Full Australian working rights and able to pass a national police clearance.
