President Introduction
President Xu Yongqun has a remarkable background, from being a “sent-down youth” in Beijing to settling in Yan’an, Shaanxi, before retiring and immigrating to Australia. President Xu has successfully integrated into the local society and actively participates in the Chinese community. He serves not only as the president of Beijing Club Sydney but also as the honorary president of the Sydney Seniors University. His efforts and contributions have significantly promoted cultural exchanges and development within the Chinese community. His versatility is evident not only in his transnational life experiences but also in his ability to shine in various fields, contributing to the cultural construction and exchange of the Chinese community.
A Warm Organization
Beijing Club enriches the lives of seniors by hosting various activities such as cultural performances, traditional festival celebrations, and special parades. These activities provide a platform for seniors to integrate into the local social circle and make new friends, allowing them to enjoy cultural feasts while feeling the warmth and care of the community.
Additionally, Beijing Club has established multiple clubs that regularly organize various cultural activities, providing a stage for seniors to showcase their talents.
