ABOUT THE ROLE

- Provide holistic care and deliver best practices in person-centred care following facility policy and routine.
- Lead the care team to deliver safe and effective both consumer choice and clinical care to the residents.
- Be responsible for ensuring that the consumers receive the care they need with dignity, respect and involving them in all decisions about their health.
- Aside from supervisory role, direct clients care may include but not limited to medication administration, wound assessment and dressing change, appointment making, family communication, other assessment and documentation etc.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

- Active team player, professional, friendly
- Excellent clinical knowledge and competent documentation skills
- Understanding and knowledge of Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate services, supervise staff when necessary
- Professional, friendly disposition, and have the ability to remain calm in a very busy aged care home
- Self-motivated, trustworthy, takes pride personal appearance.
- Strive for excellence in care and service for our people
QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor of Nursing
- Current AHPRA Registration
- Valid WWCC
- A National Police check issued in the last 12 months
- A minimum of three COVID vaccinations
